Flexible Public Transit Service Survey: The Town of Pelham was recently awarded a Clean Mobility Grant through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). The program aims to increase access to zero-emission, shared transportation options across New York State communities. The Town of Pelham will leverage this opportunity to develop a plan for adding an electric, flexible public transit service to the current transit network. This new service may provide flexible public transit vehicles at common pick-up/drop-off points or allow for scheduled home pick up with electric cars, minibuses, small shuttles, vans, or other options. Your feedback will help inform the design of a flexible transit service for all Town of Pelham visitors and residents. Please click the link below to complete a 10-minute survey, and help shape the future of transportation in the Town of Pelham. Town of Pelham

Dec 16th – Severe Weather/Snowstorm

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our area. The storm is expected to begin Wednesday evening and continue through Thursday morning. The town of Pelham, in conjunction with Empress Ambulance operates a Fly Car to assist Pelham Town residents with emergency care and to assess the need for transport to a hospital. With the impending snow storm due to arrive later today, Empress will be sending an EMT and a chained ambulance to Pelham starting at 8pm on Wednesday until Thursday Morning. This will allow the Pelham medic to transport patients without the need to wait a for a transporting unit as we anticipate longer travel times due to the weather.
