The Pelham Public Library provides friendly services to help community residents obtain information and materials, meeting their educational, personal, recreational and professional needs. The Library’s programs and diverse collection of materials draw patrons of all ages and interests. The Children’s collection, Story Times and programs stimulate young children’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning. The Library serves as a learning center for all residents of the community and, through its membership in the Westchester Library System, provides Internet service and easy access to the varied resources of all of the public libraries in Westchester County.

Library Cards

All residents of the Town of Pelham can obtain a free library card by filling out an application available at our circulation desk. After providing the Library with photo ID and proof of residence, you will receive your card ready for immediate use. Your card is good in all 38 public libraries in Westchester County. If you work in Pelham, and live outside of Westchester, you can get a system-wide card by showing proof of employment and photo ID.
