Chief Finance Officer
Welcome to the Office of Finance. The Chief Finance Officer is the Town Supervisor Hon. Dan McLaughlin, moderator of the Town Board. All financial items, budget, work bids, audits, etc., is analyzed by the Finance group and introduced to the Town Board for further analysis and subsequent approval. In this capacity, the Supervisor has assistance (Comptroller and bookkeeper) to help in the understanding and analysis of each and every financial decision. The Finance department follows all state mandated rules and regulations in over viewing each and every detail of the issues facing the finance group.
The Finance department is responsible for all payment preparation of purchases, Town contracts, payroll, and administration of resources to meet the Town cash flow. In addition, the Town Board utilizes a practice of independent audits by a Certified Public Accountant.
