June 21st- The Mobile Shredder will visit Pelham: The Westchester County Mobile Shredder is coming to Pelham! The shredder truck will be available in the back parking lot of Town Hall (off of Harmon Avenue) on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Residents are invited to bring their personal and confidential paper documents for safe, secure on-site shredding. This service is free of charge and is provided by Westchester County to help prevent identity theft and promote responsible recycling. ✔️ Items You Can Bring: Personal documents with sensitive information Old tax records Bank and credit card statements Medical records Utility bills Pre-approved credit card offers Other documents containing your name, address, phone number, or Social Security number ❌ Please DO NOT Bring: Binders, folders, or plastic covers Magazines or newspapers Photos or X-rays CDs, DVDs, or floppy disks Business or commercial waste (residential only) Documents will be shredded on the spot in a mobile shredding truck. All shredded material will be recycled.

Pelham Emergency Medical Services Announcment

Pelham, NY – The Pelham Town Council is pleased to announce that the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps Inc. (EVAC) will assume the responsibility of the Emergency Medical Services for the Town of Pelham, effective 12:01 AM on January 1, 2024.

Residents will benefit greatly from the increased coverage including a state-of-the-art Pelham Town ambulance staffed by an Emergency Medical Technician and a Paramedic complemented by our existing Flycar which will remain staffed by an additional Paramedic.

The town council issued the following statement;  “We express our gratitude for the diligent work, strategic planning, and collaborative efforts that have paved the way for a dedicated ambulance service in Pelham. We eagerly anticipate our partnership with EVAC and all stakeholders to ensure the success of this much-needed and life-saving service.”

In the event of an emergency, residents are reminded to continue dialing 911, and assistance will be deployed.
