While updating the News and Notices section to make room for new announcements, such as the 2025 Summer Concert Series, some previously spotlighted past posts were edited to remove them from the top of the page. New applicants who qualify for STAR will now be required to register with NY State (www.tax.ny.gov) instead of applying with the Assessor’s Office. If they qualify, they will receive a star credit in the form of a check rather than a property tax exemption. The dollar value of the credit will be the same as the property tax exemption.
